FLAGSHIP HEALTHCARE TRUST ACQUIRES SURGERY CENTER IN LOUISVILLE, KY
Louisville Endoscopy Center is centrally located near Norton Audubon Hospital
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (December 2, 2021) — Flagship Healthcare Trust, a Charlotte-based outpatient healthcare real estate investment trust (REIT), has acquired a Class A, fully leased ambulatory surgery center (ASC) in Louisville, Kentucky.
The 11,190-square foot single-tenant facility is in the heart of Louisville near Norton Audubon Hospital, a 432-bed acute care hospital. The Louisville Endoscopy Center is an outpatient endoscopic surgery center specializing in colonoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies and upper endoscopies, with three endoscopy suites that will soon be expanded to six endoscopy suites.

The outpatient facility is a joint-venture partnership between AMSURG and local physicians, who are some of the region’s premier gastroenterologists and leaders in digestive health. AMSURG is a national leader in ASC management that offers a strong national presence, leading market positions in multiple service lines and extensive local expertise.
