Mr. Benge serves as vice president of project and construction management for Flagship Healthcare Properties. Garrett leads the firm’s project management department. He brings extensive healthcare project management and construction expertise to the firm, having completed many projects in both the acute care setting and outpatient capacity.

Prior to joining the firm, Garrett spent 6 years with Novant Health’s construction team. During his time at Novant, Garrett oversaw numerous multi-million dollar projects and managed all of the outpatient construction for Novant Health’s Charlotte region.

Garrett holds a degree in Healthcare Administration and has deep roots in the construction industry. Prior to joining Novant, he was involved in a family-owned construction business with a more than 30 year history that has positively impacted numerous Charlotte-area cities.

Born and raised in Davie County, Garrett has lived in Charlotte, NC since 2014. He enjoys spending time with his wife, and being a father to his son. In his spare time he also enjoys big game hunting, riding his Harley-Davidson, and traveling the U.S.
