Flagship Healthcare Properties is committed to the sustainable operations and development of medical office buildings within our owned and client managed portfolios.

We seek to take action to improve the sustainability of a property from both an energy savings and environmental impact perspective. We seek to elevate the operations of its managed facilities to higher levels through building rating systems, core concepts associated with LEED Building design, LEED Building operations or IPD (Integrated Project Delivery). Our team strives to remain current on knowledge and actions for green initiatives that are above traditional building operations.

With this knowledge, our team manages properties to the highest achievable level of sustainability and guides projects through establishment of improved processes. This approach both enhance green initiatives and sustainability, be it Energy Star, Green Operations and/or achieving levels of LEED Certification.


The lease agreement between the Landlord and Tenant must be accurately managed and administered. We abstract all leases, enter the critical information into our property management software, and administer all leases accordingly. With so much of the value—to both landlords and tenants—attributable to the lease document, having an expert like Flagship on your side helps in preserving that value.


Our property budgeting follows a detailed budget schedule and approval process. It is a collaborative effort among different staff professionals and departments to prepare, present, and approve every budget for every property we manage. We dedicate significant resources and technology to accurately deliver a well-conceived budget for owners’ review and approval.


Our selection of preferred vendors is based on service quality and competitive pricing. We understand the importance of having trusted industry partners, and our team treats these vendor relationships seriously. We utilize our portfolio size to achieve cost savings through economies of scale, with the savings passed along to our clients absent any markup. We competitively bid contract services through detailed scopes of work for every controllable operating expense item.


We dedicate a team of accounting professionals to every asset we manage. Our services include preparing customized financial statements, maintaining asset operating accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management. We provide detailed investor reports to our owners on their assets’ financial condition and performance.


All of our service professionals are dedicated to providing unsurpassed customer service to our clients and tenants. Every service request is given the importance it deserves and addressed promptly. We leverage technology to assist with tracking and documenting work requests through a secure online web portal that each tenant can access.


We maintain an insurance program with a major insurance carrier that includes “blanket” property and liability protection for all assets included in the policy. The blanket policy provides protection for all assets in a customized, enriched policy at competitive rates.


Our management and maintenance staff provides facility compliance services to ambulatory surgery center clients. These services include maintaining, inspecting, and documenting facility and life safety inspections for regulatory compliance requirements, as well as general maintenance services.
