CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Sept. 8, 2020) – Flagship Healthcare Properties (Flagship) is pleased to announce the addition of Blake Bratcher to the firm as an executive vice president, leading Flagship’s ambulatory surgery center (ASC) strategy and portfolio, effective Sept. 28, 2020. Based in Nashville, Tenn., he will be responsible for the growth and direction of Flagship’s ASC initiative, centered on building strategic partnerships with surgery center operators and physicians to acquire, develop and manage ASCs across the country.
“We are very excited to have Blake join us,” states Charles Campbell, co-managing partner and chief executive officer of Flagship. “He is a proven leader; and his unique background, expertise and industry relationships make him an excellent fit for Flagship as well as a key asset for our team as we continue to grow our ASC portfolio and look to partner with surgery center operators and physicians.”
Prior to joining Flagship, Blake was the enterprise vice president of real estate for Envision Healthcare, where he oversaw the development and management of over 650 properties across 40 states, 280 of which were ASCs. Previously, he served as the director of real estate and real estate counsel at AmSurg, one of the nation’s largest ASC operators.
“It is an honor to join the Flagship team, and I look forward to growing a disciplined investment platform laser-focused on the acquisition, development and management of ambulatory surgery center facilities,” states Blake Bratcher. “As surgical procedures continue to shift to an ambulatory setting, ASCs will play a more prominent role in enhancing the patient experience, lowering healthcare costs and improving quality of care. In this growing sector, we will leverage our experience, knowledge, and relationships to identify and execute deals that allow us to invest and partner accretively.”
