WINSTON‐SALEM, NC – Brackett Flagship Properties, LLC (Brackett Flagship) is pleased to announce that it has been chosen as developer for a medical office project to be located within the Silas Pointe development in Winston‐Salem, NC. The selection was made by the property owners: Lenoir, NC based Broyhill – Silas Pointe, LLC. The project is to be developed on approximately 5 acres fronting Silas Creek Parkway across from Forsyth Medical Center, and includes the former Elks Lodge property.

While development plans have not yet been finalized, it is anticipated that the project will contain up to 80,000 square feet of medical office space. Brackett Flagship will begin demolition of the former Elks Lodge building this week and anticipates having its plans finalized in the first quarter of 2013.

Reed Griffith of Brackett Flagship and Mary Z. Benton of Zaytoun Real Estate are handling leasing for the project. Stimmel Associates, PA is overseeing land planning, with Peterson Associates, PA providing architectural services. Frank L. Blum Construction Company is coordinating the site demolition and preparation.
