September 8, 2016 – Brackett Flagship Properties, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, has made another acquisition in the Triad region. Wake Forest Baptist Health Medical Plaza, an approximately 34,000 square foot, Class A medical office building located in Greensboro, North Carolina became the latest asset to join the firm’s recently launched Flagship Healthcare Real Estate Fund II, LLC portfolio.

Anchored by Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, the building sits on N Elm Street next to Greensboro’s Lake Jeanette, and is less than a quarter mile from the future I-840/Greensboro Urban Loop.  Coley Cosmetic & Hand Surgery Center and Compass Financial Partners bring the building to 100% occupancy.

The adult clinics at Wake Forest Baptist Health Medical Plaza include heart failure, neurosurgery, reproductive medicine, spine, surgical specialties, urology, urological gynecology and weight management. The Brenner Children’s Hospital pediatric clinics at the location include cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology and oncology, kidney, urology and weight management. The facility also features ultrasound services and fully equipped labs.

“The combination of being anchored by a premier health system, Wake Forest Baptist Health, and having long-term leases held by all current tenants makes us very excited to secure this asset for our investors as well as have the opportunity to serve new healthcare providers in the north Greensboro market,” says Russell Brown, Senior Vice President of Investments for Brackett Flagship Properties.

Lindbrook Development Services completed construction of the building in 2014 and has been retained for property management services, in conjunction with Brackett Flagship Properties.
